Mary Finke is an attorney at the Mike Slocumb Law Firm’s office in Washington, D.C., where she focuses her practice on personal injury litigation. As an empathetic and client-focused attorney, Mrs. Finke zealously advocates for her clients to obtain the best outcome, while taking the time to get to know the people she serves. Mrs. Finke prides herself in her work ethic, and will do what it takes to protect her clients’ rights.
Mrs. Finke grew up in southwestern Virginia, in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains. She attended Davis and Elkins College in West Virginia, where she received a B.A. in Psychology. She went on to attend Marymount University in Arlington, Virginia, where she received an M.A. in Forensic and Legal Psychology, before pursuing her J.D. at The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law as a part-time evening student. While in law school, Mrs. Finke was a Competition Member on the Moot Court Team, President of the Evening Law Student’s Association, and received Highest Pro Bono Distinction with over 150 hours of pro bono services provided.
In her free time, Mrs. Finke likes to spend time with her husband, Phil, and their dog, Charlie, travel, scrapbook, and read – usually a psychological thriller.
