Lakshmi Apolinario is a dedicated and passionate attorney committed to fighting for the rights of individuals who have been injured in accidents. Fluent in Spanish and licensed to practice law in both Florida and Washington D.C., Lakshmi brings a wealth of experience and deep empathy to her practice. Her career reflects unwavering dedication to her clients, understanding the physical, emotional, and financial toll that accidents can take on individuals and their families.

Before law school, Lakshmi discovered her passion for personal injury law when she worked as a case manager where she supervised hundreds of personal injury files, demonstrating her ability to handle cases from inception through completion in the early stages of her career.

Lakshmi earned her Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Florida Atlantic University and her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Nova Southeastern University. She was inducted into The National Order of Barristers and received the Stephanie Aleong Impact Award for her exceptional advocacy skills. As an executive member and competitor in the Moot Court Honor Society, a Junior Associate in Law Review, a competitor in the NSU Trial Association, and President of the Caribbean Law Student Association, Lakshmi demonstrated her commitment to excellence.

Prior to joining Slocumb Law Firm, Lakshmi honed her litigation and negotiation skills as a public defender, leading as primary counsel in multiple misdemeanor jury trials and securing favorable plea agreements. She then returned to her passion for personal injury law where she dedicates herself to representing those injured and requiring strong advocacy against large insurance companies.

In her free time, Lakshmi enjoys listening to music, riding bikes and scooters throughout the city, and exploring new restaurants.
