Bradley W. Hines

Managing Attorney

Bradley Hines is the managing attorney of the Mike Slocumb Law Firm’s Washington, D.C. office, where he focuses his practice exclusively on personal injury law, including automobile accidents, truck accidents, motorcycle accidents, slips and falls, premises liability, product liability, medical malpractice, wrongful death, and mass torts. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hines represented clients in personal injury, business contracts, domestic relations, and other legal matters at several private law firms in Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Mr. Hines is a lifelong Virginian who grew up in Newport News, a city in the Tidewater region. He attended high school at Hampton Roads Academy, then moved to Harrisonburg to attend college at James Madison University, where he graduated cum laude with a political science degree. He received his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law in Arlington, Virginia.

Mr. Hines is successful in his legal practice because he does the opposite of what many other lawyers do—he takes things personally. When his clients are hurt and need help, he puts himself in their shoes and tackles their problems as though they were his own. Mr. Hines prioritizes attorney-client communication and believes that it is equally important to keep his clients updated and informed about their cases as it is to truly listen to their concerns and ensure their voices are heard. He employs a collaborative approach, working directly with his clients throughout the legal process. In every instance, he strives for the best possible results and remains committed to finding optimal legal resolutions long after most other lawyers would have given up.

Mr. Hines is a member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and has authored several published works, including Bradley W. Hines, Melendez-Diaz v. Massachusetts: Forcing America to Pay the Premium Price for the Nation’s New Confrontation Clause, 21 Geo. Mason U. C.R.L.J 123 (2010).

Currently, Mr. Hines lives in Alexandria, Virginia with his wife, son, and French bulldog, Peanut, who serves as the unofficial mascot of the firm’s D.C. office.
